Horseman family papers, 1783-1847.

Collection of poetry and family correspondence. Correspondence is dated 1793-1847. Most letters are written to the Reverend John Horseman or his daughter Ursula. The earliest letters are to John when he was a student at Corpus Christi College. The poetry is mostly anonymous, but Mary Anne Brookes and John Horseman have numerous poems in the collection. Many of Horseman's poems are to his daughter; one of which is a Valentine's card with a picture of Cupid. Also included are a water color portrait of John Horseman and a pencil sketch of Ursula.
